Concepts of Physics (Volumes 1 and 2) is HC Verma's famous two-volume text that explains the core ideas of physics first and applies them to problems second. Difficulty level

Start with HC Verma if you are building your physics foundation. It is the single best book for understanding physics for JEE. Once concepts are solid, add a dedicated problem/PYQ book for exam-style practice and JEE Advanced difficulty. Treat HC Verma as the foundation layer, not the only layer.
